How to put bobbin in sewing machineA small spool prepared winding thread on it is called  bobbin. It purpose is to hold thread it helps in forming stitches’ on the bottom side of fabric. They vary from size to size. They come in different sizes there is no fixed size. Make sure that you are using right size bobbin for your sewing machines. Other wise it poorly affects your stitches. This guide explains in detail How to put bobbin in sewing machine.

How does bobbin works?

How does bobbin works? As the needle moves up and down in the fabric, the bobbin thread and the upper spool thread come together and stitches are formed.

The threaded needle passes through the fabric. When doing this, the shuttle hook of the hook, located below the needle plate, rotates and holds the thread. The hook of the shuttle hook, also called a rotating hook, holds the bobbin. When the hook rotates, it spreads the needle thread and moves it around the bobbin. The two threads come together and form a stitch that holds the pieces of fabric together.

If you can’t see looking at your sewing machine, consult the instruction manual and / or the quick start guide for details on the bobbin system that your sewing machine uses.
